Swarovski has changed direction and are no longer selling their products to dealers. As soon as my current stock is gone, I won't be able to replace it. I have been updating my site accordingly but I suggest you check with me on available stock in case I have missed any. I have opened an account with Preciosa (Bohemian Czech Crystals) and will be listing them as they arrive. Preciosa is one of the world's best crystal and glass manufacturers in the world so keep a look out for them.

What are Swarovski Crystals?

These are the finest quality, full-lead crystals made today. The crystals are faceted with tremendous precision, creating beautiful prisms. Brilliant colours and/or coatings are added to these crystals to create pieces of dazzling beauty. Swarovski crystals are unmatched in quality and distinction.

Who Invented Swarovski Crystals?

Daniel Swarovski invented Swarovski crystals in 1895 in Bohemia. They are made from the finest crystal lead glass, cut and ground with such precision that they sparkle as brilliantly as diamonds. They have a weight and style that sets them apart from normal beads.

For more information, see the Swarovski Crystals site.

What are Swarovski Crystals made from?
Swarovski uses only the best materials to make their crystal glass, typically 32% of the glass is lead and lead oxide. The presence of the lead increases the index of refraction, bringing it closer to that of diamond. The sparkle comes from light bouncing off internal surfaces in the lead crystal. This is why lead glass beads have an attractive sparkle and heavier weight than cheaper forms of glass.

How much does postage cost?
All orders will be packed and sent by express mail at a cost of $11.00 for up to 500 grams, $19.00 for up to 3 kilograms and $25 for over 3 kilograms.  Purchases over $500 are post free.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, PayPal or Internet Transfer and credit cards.

Do you have a retail shop?
Yes, we have a shop open to the public at Yandina (2/8 Farrell St).  We are open 10 am to 4 pm Mondays to Friday.  See the Contact Us page for more details.
What is AB?
AB stands for Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It is an effect developed in cooperation with Christian Dior in 1954. AB provides a shimmering finish that enhances the sparkle of cut crystal. Many have tried to copy this effect but none can match the brilliance of the world's best crystal makers.
